ARTICLE 1 - SUBJECT AND SCOPE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTC") govern the contractual relationships between Capital Games, organizer of the Paris Game Biz event (hereinafter "the Organizer"), and any natural or legal person purchasing services related to the Paris Game Biz 2026 event (hereinafter "the Client" or "the Participant").

The Paris Game Biz event is a professional B2B event intended for video game studios and industry stakeholders, held at Espace Cléry, 17 Rue de Cléry, 75002 Paris, on October 20-21, 2026.


ARTICLE 2 - SERVICES PROVIDED

The Organizer proposes the following services:

- Participation in Paris Game Biz 2026 event

- Access to personalized matchmaking sessions

- Participation in one-to-one meetings with investors and publishers

- Access to editorial guidelines from participating publishers

- Networking services and business introductions

- Access to event venues at Espace Cléry

- Sponsorship packages (according to available options)

Specific details of each service are outlined in the contractual documents provided to the Client upon registration.


ARTICLE 3 - ADMISSION CONDITIONS

Participation in Paris Game Biz 2026 is subject to selection. Participating studios are selected based on:

- Their track record and experience

- The quality of their projects

- Alignment with participating publishers' guidelines

- Compliance with eligibility criteria defined by the Organizer

The Organizer reserves the right to accept or reject any application without obligation to justify its decision.


ARTICLE 4 - REGISTRATION AND ORDER

4.1 Registration Process

Registration takes place exclusively online via the website https://parisgamebiz.com/

4.2 Order Confirmation

The order is definitively accepted only after:

- Validation of the application file by the Organizer

- Receipt of full payment

- Written confirmation of registration by the Organizer


ARTICLE 5 - PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS

5.1 Pricing

Prices are stated in euros, including all taxes.

Two participation packages are offered:

- Buyer Package: 920€ for one attendee / VIP Experience: 1 490€ for 1 attendee

- Studio Package: 50€ per submission + 490€ once selected, for 1 attendee

Custom sponsorship packages are available from the Organizer and will be subject to a specific commercial offer.


5.2 Payment Methods

Payment is accepted through:

- Bank transfer

- Credit card (according to available methods)

Payment is due, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Organizer.


5.3 Invoice

An invoice is issued after payment is received and sent to the Client electronically to the email address provided during registration.


ARTICLE 6 - CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

6.1 Client Cancellation

- Cancellation more than 60 days before the event: 100% refund minus €50 processing fee

- Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before the event: 50% refund

- Cancellation less than 30 days before the event: no refund


6.2 Organizer Cancellation

In the event the Organizer cancels the event for reasons beyond its control (force majeure, health conditions, etc.), amounts paid will be refunded or transferred to the next edition, at the Client's choice.


6.3 Postponement or Modification

The Organizer reserves the right to postpone or modify event conditions. In case of substantial modification, the Client may request cancellation of participation with full refund.


ARTICLE 7 - OBLIGATIONS OF PARTIES

7.1 Organizer's Obligations

The Organizer commits to:

- Organize the event in accordance with the announced program

- Provide services described in the contract

- Respect announced dates and times

- Ensure access to necessary venues and equipment


7.2 Participant's Obligations

The Participant commits to:

- Comply with the event's internal regulations

- Attend scheduled meetings

- Maintain professional and respectful behavior

- Respect safety rules and venue instructions

- Not disrupt the smooth running of the event


ARTICLE 8 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Participant authorizes the Organizer to use their name, logo and image for communication purposes related to the event, unless express written objection.

Content presented during the event remains the exclusive property of its authors. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.


ARTICLE 9 - LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

9.1 Organizer's Liability

The Organizer's liability is limited to services directly related to event organization. The Organizer shall not be liable for:

- Indirect or immaterial damages

- Commercial losses or loss of profits

- Theft or damage to personal equipment

9.2 Force Majeure

The Organizer shall not be liable for non-performance of its obligations in case of force majeure or exceptional circumstances.

9.3 Insurance

It is strongly recommended that Participants obtain insurance covering their participation in the event and their equipment.


ARTICLE 10 - PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

Personal data collected are processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on https://www.parisgamebiz.com/ and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data is used for:

- Registration and event management

- Matchmaking organization

- Event-related communication

- Commercial follow-up (with consent)


ARTICLE 11 - RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to service provisions for accommodation, transport, catering and leisure that must be provided on a specific date or according to a determined schedule.


ARTICLE 12 - COMPLAINTS AND MEDIATION

12.1 Complaints

Any complaint must be submitted in writing to the Organizer within 30 days following the event:

- By mail to the head office address

12.2 Mediation

In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought. If unsuccessful, the Client may resort to mediation according to the terms provided by the Consumer Code.


ARTICLE 13 - APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These GTC are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after attempting amicable resolution, the Paris courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.


ARTICLE 14 - MODIFICATIONS AND VALIDITY

14.1 Modifications

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these GTC. The GTC applicable are those in effect on the order date.

14.2 Partial Nullity

Should any clause of these GTC be declared null or unenforceable, the other clauses shall retain their full validity.


ARTICLE 15 - ACCEPTANCE

Registration for Paris Game Biz 2026 constitutes express and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
