🔍 Discovery Tour (October 27)
Guided by Abrial Da Costa (Capital Games/Playdigious), 13 international figures visited the Amplitude Studios offices to discover the strengths and successes of French video games a few hours before the launch of Paris Game Biz 2025. On the program: attractiveness initiatives (Diana Marino, CNC), behind the scenes of a AAA studio (Romain de Waubert, Amplitude Studios), and French success stories (François Meurisse - Sandfall Interactive, Benjamin Laulan - Evil Empire).
At the end of this day, they were also able to exchange with 15 studios and representatives of our industry during a dinner in the heart of Montmartre.
🌍 Strategic International Connections
Paris Game Biz was an opportunity to highlight European and international collaborations between France, Europe and Asia:
The commitment of Monika Butterbrodt, Lorenz Wiedemann from the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Laura Thümmler from the Game association, to mobilize about ten German studios and publishers during strategic meetings
The presentation of the Spanish ecosystem by Madrid in Game
Exchanges with Kodansha & Ludimus as part of the Indie Game Lab Japan 2026, the first Franco-Japanese game design incubation program with the support of the French Institute and CNC.
🎨 Video Games by Paris Game Biz: A Cultural Experience
International participants enjoyed a musical immersion during the symphonic concert of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a French RPG with worldwide success. The next day, the Paris Game Biz cocktail party showcased the legendary Studio Harcourt — an iconic French photography venue since 1934, where the greatest cultural figures have been immortalized. The venue was dressed for the occasion with 12 portraits of iconic characters from French video games, created by five emblematic studios (Arkane Studios, Cyanide Studio, Don't Nod, Focus Entertainment, Sloclap) in support of Paris Game Biz.
